Hotel staff help give rooms a new look, The Bryn Awel Hotel, Mold

Visitors can now expect a whole new experience if they check into one of the rooms at the Bryn Awel Hotel in Mold.

A number of guest bedrooms at the hotel have undergone an all over make-over, from floor to ceiling, with stylish new furnishings, new bathroom suites and even flat-screen televisions mounted on the walls.

And staff at the hotel have had a big part to play in the design and colour scheme for the new rooms.

Hotel director Greg Shankar said: “The rooms look fantastic now, and some of the staff at the hotel have played a big part in getting the look right. They were asked to pick the furnishings, and I took their advice every step of the way.

“In fact, the wife of one staff member went a little bit further than giving advice, and actually hand-stitched some of the detail onto the bed linen, and made the curtains for each redecorated room.

“We wanted the rooms to be natural and tranquil, where people can unwind and relax after a day in Mold on business or pleasure, and that is exactly the look we have achieved.”

The hotel has also commissioned a 360-degree view of one of the newly refurbished rooms, which they hope to put up on their website shortly.
